Our Beneficiary: St. Michael Medical Center

The 2025 Luncheon funds will be used to purchase St. Michael Medical Center first water birth tub. This will allow mothers who want a water birth to be in a safe controlled environment where skilled staff will be present to lessen any complications which may arise. In addition, water birth tubs are used for hydrotherapy during childbirth as a natural pain intervention technique.

St. Michael Medical Center providers believe the introduction of this option will reduce the stress of labor and delivery and will reduce fetal complications.
